I recorded a test in Chrome that involves clicking on a button to upload a file and it runs without failures in Internet Explorer. In Chrome the test hangs when trying to press the button. The test records that clicking the button was successful but no dialog opens. If I manually click on the button during the test, the test completes the remaining steps (inputting a path and clicking Open) successfully. I'm using the latest version of Test Studio and Chrome. Any ideas how I could fix this issue?

Hi Randy,

Latest Chrome release has introduced breaking changes related to popups and dialogs handling.

Please download the latest Chrome extension and give that a try.

Those are stored in the Chrome Web Store as required by Google (security reasons). You need to download them manually from the Web Store and enable to make use of them (remove the old ones).

See this article for more info and direct links.

Also install our latest internal build (1016) on some testing machine. You can download it from here.

If the issue persists could you please set the simulate real click to true of the click step.

Let me know if this helps.
