We have several projects stored in TFS for a couple weeks now. This morning, I opened the project and one of the files was not the latest version. Is Test Studio supposed to Get Latest when opening the project or is that something that we should manually perform when we open the project?
Thanks!

Generally, Test Studio will attempt to perform a 'get latest' from TFS when Test Studio opens a project. If Test Studio has a problem connecting to the server, there should be an 'Unable to connect to source control' error dialog. One way to find out more about whether a 'get latest' operation was attempted and what its outcome may have been is to check the application log. If you generate an application log for this behavior and attach it to this ticket, we may be able to find out more.

I have attached the log. It doesn't look like Test Studio performed a 'get latest' when I opened the project. I turned on logging while a different project (not in TFS) was already open:
@ 14:58, I closed that project and opened up our project in TFS
@ 15:07, I manually performed a 'get latest' from within Test Studio
@ 15:08, I opened and edited the 'Login' test and checked it back in (notice the non-fatal errors)
Much of the log doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Are you able to decipher what happened when (A) Test Studio did not perform get latest on project opening and (B) what the big deal is for the non-fatal errors?
Many thanks!
Alan
Thanks for providing this application log. It turns out I was incorrect in believing that Test Studio's expected behavior is to get latest when opening a project. Test Studio does attempt to connect to the TFS server when opening the project, but get latest is not automatic. It appears from your application log that Test Studio did at least connect to the TFS server when you opened the application. This is the extent of the expected behavior. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
