Dear all,
If I want to change something in my test I normaly use the feature "Run to here".
The problem is, that if I arrive at the "end"-point, Test Studio launches the recorder,
but it doesn't work/record. If I click in a ComboBox it doesn't record the step.(nothing happened)
When I want to verify a text it shows me the error attached.
If I record without the feature "Run to here" i can verify ervery text and it works just normal.
I've installed the latest internal Build 827. What can I do?
Edit: I added the Log-File
Thanks for your help.

Hello Bruno,
I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.
We already know about the issue with recording when using "Run to here" in Silverlight applications in Test Studio using 2013.1.827. You can follow the progress on this problem with this bug entry in our public Feedback Portal.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Koychev
Thank you for your quick answer.
The "Run to here" feature works fine now. I can almost record everything but the verification of a "Textbox" or a "RadioButton" doesn't work.
I recieve the same error i've already attached and in the Log I also recieve the same error.
I already installed the version 2013.1.1002.0 and reinstalled the TestStudio several times.
Edit: If I do the verification without "Run to here", i'm able to record the verification of these controlls.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Bruno,
It is good to hear that at least some of the problems are now resolved.
The behavior you are describing sounds like a bug, but in order to fix it or provide you a workaround for this problem, we will need to reproduce it locally.
Please provide us with a copy of your test and if it is possible grant us access to your application so we can reproduce the issue on our end.
If direct access is not possible, capture a Fiddler trace and attach it to this support ticket in a zip file. If you are unfamiliar with how to do so, this link will provide you with step-by-step instructions for download and use. Please make sure to enable 'Decrypt HTTPS traffic' and 'Store binaries' options (see attached image) before starting capture.

Hi Koychev
I've attached the Zip file of the Fiddler trace and hope you can reproduce the issue.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Bruno,
Thank you for sending us the Fiddler trace.
Unfortunately I will need you to capture a new Fiddler trace. Please be sure to:
1. Click Clear Cache first
2. Check Store binaries
3. Check Decrypt HTTPS traffic
4. Capture the steps without using Test Studio.
It might also be helpful if you send us a sample test with the same steps or a short video (Jing is great for this) to know how to reproduce the problem.
Hope to hear from you soon

Hi Koychev
I captured a new Fiddler trace with the exact same steps like in the test (without the verifications)
and without running Test Studio in the background. (The Fiddler was configurated correctly)
I also made a short video how to reproduce the problem.
Both files are in the Zip wich you can download here: http://www.screencast.com/t/LGZBuzY2d4
Thanks for your help!

New internal build is out that looks like it might have addressed your issue. 2013.1.1114 - http://www.telerik.com/versionnotes.aspx?nb=1&id=3579
May want to give it a shot while you wait for Telerik to respond.

@ Daniel - Thank you for the input!
@ Bruno - Thank you for the video and the fiddler trace.
Unfortunately the fiddler trace again did not contain any useful data.
Did you try reproducing this issue with our latest internal build?

Hello Koychev
I've installed the latest Build 2013.1.1120.0, but the issue still exists.
I mentioned that this issue only exists if I verify a Textblock with the Verification "TextBlock".
If i want to make a verification about the property or visibility i haven't the issue.
Should I retake a fiddler trace? What did I wrong? How should I capture the Steps? Just by klicking?
Regards,
Bruno

Hello Bruno,
I am sorry to hear that this issue still exists.
Could you please try to reproduce the same problem against another public website or the problem happens only against your website? I was not able to reproduce it against our Silverlight demo website.
Unfortunately the fiddler trace did not contain the needed data. Did you follow the suggested steps (clearing cache first, not using Test Studio - just navigating to the page)
As a workaround, can you try to use the Quick Verifications?

Hello Koychev
Sorry for my late response.
I've received the same issue on your demo-page.
But I have realised something else, if I make a Verification of a Textblock I reveive the normal exception.
But if I want to verify a Header Cell Text, the exception doesn't appears, but it shows "text same value?",
so he hasn't found the text. (I attached a printscreen of this).
I've done all these steps before taking the fiddler trace.
I didn't find a verification of the text as a Quick verification so it doesn't work as Workaround.

Bruno

Hello Bruno,
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately I am still not able to reproduce your issue. I tried to use the same demo website as you, but everything works as expected. I have recorded a short video for demonstration (this video is recorded after I used the option "Run to here"). Am I doing the same steps as you?
Please record a short video to show us the issue you are experiencing. Jing is great for this.
I am using the Service Pack released earlier this week. Can you please download the new bits and give it a go? The official build is labeled 2013.2.1327 and is available from the downloads in your account.
If upgrading to 2013.2.1327 still doesn't help, could you please also tell us which OS and version of the browser you are using.
Thank you for your cooperation.
