Hi,
I have installed on my machine Test Studio version 2011.2.1305.0, and Visual Studio 2010. What I remmember is, when I installed Test Studio, Visual Studio was installed too. Actually, I have another machine, but the guy that installed Test Studio do not install Visual Studio, I was trying to see how I can install just the Visual Studio plug in, but I could not find the way, and I need to update some *.cs documents. There is a way to just install the Visual Studio ?
Thanks,

Hello Karla,
Thanks for writing! Regarding this situation, there is no way to install just Visual Studio on a machine. Seeing that you have other Test Studio licenses you could have the license holder assign an additional license user for one of those and then you'll be able to use the Test Studio license on another machine only for its Visual Studio capabilities to update your *.cs documents. The only way to get Visual Studio by itself is to purchase our Ultimate Collection. I hope this information helps you out.
Thanks and have a great day!

Ok, I was seeing in your site the Test Studio Express trial, but I cannot install it, even this is a FREE trial. This is not available?
Or there is a way to change the namespace for the cs doc? without use the visual studio?
The issue there, is b/c I created a test cases under a project, but I copied them into another project, so the namespace is different and when I tried to run them, it show me a compilation error, that namespace is not the correct , for that reason I need to entry to the .cs doc and just change the namespace, in order to run the test cases.
There is another way withour use the VS??
Thanks

Hello Karla,

Allow me to interject and clear the confusion. You are currently a license holder for Test Studio. This installs the standard Test Studio application (known as the Standalone version) and the Test Studio VS plugin (if you have Visual Studio installed on the machine first). If Visual Studio is not installed, then the Test Studio installer recognizes this and makes the VS plugin feature unavailable.
The .cs file type is not unique to Test Studio or Visual Studio. There are many free source code editors online that you can use to open and edit that file type. Notepad++ is a good example.
