HI,

i have a scenario , where company name is displayed in company info page . if company name is very large, it overlap with a text box label next to the company name field  and it looks ugly. how to identify these kind of issues in Automation script using telerik , dynamically ?

Pls help.

Ex: on top left corner , company name stargts and on the same row to the right there is a text box with label 'Test box" when company name is large, It overlap with Test Box .

Hi Girish,

Unfortunately there is no automated solution to this "look and feel" problem. An HTML page is so full of elements that normally overlap each other, and are supposed to overlap each other, that it's next to impossible for any sort of automated script to have enough intelligence to determine what should or should not overlap. Only the human eye can quickly and efficiently determine if the look and feel of a given web page is acceptable or not.

What automation can assist you with, and Test Studio can do help with this, is to take one or more screen shots as the script navigates through the various pages of your web application. These screen shots will be stored on disk such that a human can quickly and efficiently scan all the images looking for problems that need to be addressed. This alleviates the time consuming task of actually navigating through each page just to visually look at it.
