I'm working on a WPF app and it takes time to run each single script. That's just normal and i've experienced the same thing with another testing tool.
The thing is, I have many scripts to run and it could take up to 4h to run all each time with a seat license.
I'd like to know how I can split it.
Maybe I could purchase a concurrent license with at least 4 virtual users.
In this case, how can I split my scripts? Should I work with many different machines, split my scripts in there and run it individually?
Or maybe Telerik Test Studio can handle 4 virtual users in one machine?
What kind of license would you advise to me?
Can we purchase 1 Test Studio License + many runtime edition license?
What best to do?
Any advises would be appreciated.

The runtime edition licenses are not very expensive.
We use several runtime licenses, to execute big test lists. You have the option to distribute the scripts within the testlist over all your execution servers, this can shrink up your total execution time dramatically.
If you use 4 execution servers, ideally it would take up one hour to run all your tests.

Maybe I didn't fully understand your question. I am also only a user, not a Telerik-Helpdesk-guy ;-)
Telerik Test Studio is a full package to develop the tests and run them locally.
Every user that develops tests, needs a license (~$2500).
Telerik Runtime Edition is only a client that can execute (scheduled) testlists.
Every client computer, needs a license (~$250).
If you are the only one developing tests and only want faster execution of scripts (or maybe scheduled every night on a server?), then you need one Test Studio license to develop and schedule your testlists. And, for example, two licenses of Runtime Edition, to install on your computers that will run the tests for you. This way you can divide your testscripts over the two computers/servers with Runtime Edition and decrease your 4 hours to 2 hours.
If your team mate also needs to develop tests, he definately needs a Test Studio license too.

You will need to use our scheduling functionality in order to accomplish this scenario. In order to run your tests on multiple machines you will need to purchase our RunTime version of the product which will allow you to run your test on multiple machines (execution servers).The main differences between Standalone and RunTime version you can find in this article.

Just one thing, you said we can't load test a WPF application with Telerik?
I would be interested to have more information about that because it was part of my future plan to load test my application.

Hello Мark,
Unfortinately, you cannot execute a load test against WPF application. You can execute your functional tests only as explained already using the scheduling functionality.
