Hi There,

IE 11 on windows 10 non-responsive when recording nor when testing. I arrive at the point after I select IE to create the test on, at which point the browser pops up but is blank, as illustrated in the attached image.

I've also tried recording in a browser that was already open without success. It doesn't get past the connected phase. Capture 2 illustrates the problem.

I've followed the troubleshooting documentation (link below)without success.

http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/getting-started/configure-your-browser/internet-explorer#disable-trusted-sites-message

Any ideas on how I might get around this one? I thought perhaps reinstalling the add-on might help as this has been a sucessful solution to Firefox troubleshooting. Only, I'm not sure where the add-on of IE is located or where I can download it.

Thanks,

Leila

Hello Leila,

Thank you for contacting us.

I would like to ask you for some more details on the issue you experience:

- Have you calibrate IE?

- Check also this article

- Does this unexpected behavior of IE happens with all sites? Have you tried to record against a public site as www.google.com for example?

- If the issue appears with a specific site have you tried to record against it with Chrome or Firefox? What the result is?

- If the issue appears with a specific site could you share the URL so that we could try to reproduce what you experience?

- Send us also the application log. Clear it first and then reproduce the issue.

Hope to hear from you soon.

I am experiencing a similar issue. It doesn't even seem to get to a point to trying to navigate to a URL. Even if I change the navigate to URL to google.com it remains at about:blank. Chrome and Firefox work fine. All three browsers have been calibrated and this is a brand new install of Windows 10 so there are no add-ons installed. I have tried restoring and recalibrating. Log attached.

Hello Jennifer,

Please install Team Explorer and give a try to IE again. Let me know if further assistance will  be required.
