Test Studio currently has direct support for C# and VB code enhancement.  Are there any plans to add Java support?

What I mean by this is, currently I can export my tests in C# or VB so I can work with them in Visual Studio.  I can also add code directly in both C# and VB.

Is Telerik looking at incorporating Java as an additional language option?

Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Test Studio is a .NET application. As such it can only work with other .NET languages. Java is not a .NET compatible language. As a result it is very unlikely that we will extend programming support in Test Studio to the Java language.

However you can always reference a .NET compatible external DLL from Test Studio and use the methods it contains in your coded steps. If you can find a way to create a compatible DLL from Java source then please do and let us know how successful you are. We'd love to hear about such a project being accomplished and how you did it.

All the best,
