Why does it not let you have 1 test list for your testing activities?
During our sprints we create automated and manaual test cases that need to be executed and right now we are creating 2 test lists to accomplish this. Why cannot it no handle all the of the testing activities in one combined list?

Hi Mike,
If you combine Manual and Automated test lists you will lose the benefit of automation.
If you run such a test list the automation would stop, someone should execute the manual test and then test list should continue.
Why? This is standard functionality in Microsoft Test Manager.
You are forcing users who have manual and automated scripts is a release/sprint to create 2 lists and then combine the results into a single Quality report.
This is incredibly inefficient and is the ONLY issue I have with the tool. Is there a way to combine the results of 2 lists into a single quality report?

Hi Deboer,
Unfortunately there is no way to combine the results of two testlist into one report.
I encourage you to create your own Feature Request in your own words in our public feedback portal. Our product manager monitors this and uses it to help decide what we work on next.
