Hello

I installed the test studio on my client machine and I want to monitor the performance from my remote amazon server where my web application is installed. When I want to connect to the server, I get an error that it can't connect. Do I need to install an additional service next to the storage or scheduling service?

Sincerely

Matthias Vanhollebeke

Hello Matthias,

You will need to have profiler service in order to gather performance data as shown in this article. You may need to install the RunTime on the server. You will not need the scheduling or the storage services.
Please also note that you should have the port 8031 opened on the server as shown here.

We have never tested the performance monitoring with amazon server and we cannot confirm on 100% that this will run flawlessly, you may contact amazon as well and explain them what you are trying to do since they might be blocking our requests.
