Hello Kevin,
are you using the "MultiBrowser Execution" feature from the TestList settings? If so you're hitting a  known issue with the version you're using. The problem will not appear if you don't use "MultiBrowser Execution".

The good news is that this issue has already been fixed in our Latest Internal Build. You can download it from your Telerik account (see screenshot). Let me know if you require additional assistance with this.

Kind regards,

Yes,
i selected chrome in Edit Test List Settings->Web->Browser, is this what you said about multiplebrowser execution, right? and this issue can not be reproduced every time, maybe after every two or three times execution. So my version of telerik test studio does not support other browser for schedule testlist run except for IE? because it works well when i run a testlist with chrome browser in local.

Hi Kevin,
I was referring to MultiBrowser Execution (see screenshot 1).

There should be no problems if you simply use the Browser selection drop-down (screenshot 2). If you're seeing this problem without using MultiBrowser Execution (screenshot 1) then you might be hitting a different problem. Please confirm/disconfirm this.

Scheduling is definitely NOT limited to just IE. Did you upgrade to the Latest Internal Build? If so does the issue persist after upgrading?

All the best,

Hi,
Sorry for causing you difficulty, my version of telerik test studio is 2011.1.502.0, there is no MultiBrowser Execution selection in Edit Test List Settings. Every time i  just selected one kind of browsers for a list. yet i do not upgrade it, cause i have configured some PC to schedule test run, it is not convenient to upgrade all the PC since test studio does not support well between different versions, and my code of test may need to be updated if i upgrade it. see my attachment.

Hi Kevin,
I would recommend that you upgrade. We cannot offer proper support on an older version that is no longer in use.

The Scheduling feature in particular has seen a multitude of fixes/updates introduced in subsequent release. It's quite likely the problem has already been resolved. Under these circumstances it's simply doesn't make sense to try and troubleshoot this on your current version of Test Studio.

I'm sorry to hear you feel that upgrading might require you to update your code. We believe that upgrading is stable and your concerns are unjustified. However, here's my suggestion:
Go ahead and send us your Test Project. We'll upgrade it and we'll make sure it builds successfully. We'll let you know if any updates do need to be implemented.

If you don't want to share the project on a public forum (such as this one), please go ahead and open a support ticket and attache it there. The support system is completely confidential.

Kind regards,
Stoich
