I created a new WPF test in the latest test studio version (2013.1.806) and clicked Record. The application opens but test studio never launches the recorder. Here is the video of it http://screencast.com/t/8dlSLTsNi
I have also attached the log file.

Unfortunately as you can see in this video I was not able to reproduce the issue.
What I can recommend is to configure the path to the application again from scratch (WPF application path, etc.).
Let me know if this helps.

I have already tried that. But didn't worked. From the video I can see you still have got the old version of our software so I have uploaded the latest version here.
The license file (.ral) is at the same place and the license code is the name of the file itself. I have also provided the how to license the application steps in a separate text file.
Also I have uploaded all the tests (here) along with the files they are using here
I hope this helps you reproduce the problem.
Thanks & Regards,
Kiran
Thank you for providing the application. Unfortunately I cannot run it (see the attached screen shot).
I have copied Amosca.ReportAuthority.EssbaseDataAdaptor.dll into the installation folder.
Did I miss something?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for providing the application. I have successfully launched it.
Unfortunately I am still not able to reproduce the issue. The WPF recorder is attaching correctly to your application.
See this video.
What I can recommend is to install Test Studio from scratch.
Let me know if this helps.

I have tried installing the test studio from scratch. The problem still exists. I have attched the log.
Thanks,
Kiran
I am sorry to hear you are still running into this problem.
As I can see in the log, the exception is "Pipe is broken". This error indicates that the application under test/recording has crashed and TS is unable to connect to it.
Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce the issue on our end.
Please install the application and Test Studio on another machine. Try this out and update this ticket.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Attached (untitled.png) is the log file from Test Studio.
Here are the files for the tests:

And here is the application:

It seems you did not post the correct link to the application.
Please post it again so we can try reproduce the issue.
Hope to hear from you soon.

This was the other new machine I installed my application and test studio on.

I'm new to the DropBox sharing, so maybe I just didn't do it right. Try this one, it looks a little different, so maybe it works.

Just so you know, for our app, I am aware that the recorder will not attach to the popup after clicking signin. That is not my issue, and I don't need help with the popup recording, I need the recorder to attach before I click anything at all. I just wanted to avoid confusion in case you get to our signin popup without the recorder attaching, I don't need it to attach to that popup.
Thanks,
Good luck
As you can see in this video I was unable to reproduce the issue.
Please send the complete Application Log. Ensure you enable logging first (clear out existing log, then reproduce the issue) and send us the log within a .zip file. It will give us additional information what is causing this issue.
What I can recommend is to install our latest internal build which will be available next week. It includes many bug fixes and performance improvements.
Thank you for your understandings.

Please try to launch the application out of Test Studio and then attach the recorder to it (see the attached screen shot).
Give it a try and let us know the result.

I was finally able to reproduce this issue.
I filed a bug report on this problem, which you can follow in our Feedback Portal. I am sorry for any inconvenience it has probably caused and have added updated your Telerik Points.
The problem is that Test Studio cannot attach the recorder to a wpf application on a machine without TFS or Visual Studio installed.
A workaround is to install Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer 2010. You can download it from here.
Thank you for your understanding.
