Hello Vimala,

Thank you for contacting us.

There are few additional details I would like to ask for. Please let me know which is the version of Test Studio you currently use?

Then, I would like to know if you are facing the same misbehavior against the other recording browsers - IE and Firefox? If this concerns only Chrome, please let me know its version and which is the Test Studio extension installed? Is the Chrome browser calibrated

Next thing you could verify if the recording process is working as expected, is to record a test against a public accessible page like www.google.com, for example. If it turns out the issue is related to specific page you are testing, will it be possible to allow us access to it?

I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Regards,

Hello Vimala,

Thank you for getting back to me.

The version of Test Studio you are using dates back more than two years ago and it is compatible with the two separate extensions for Chrome - Execution and Recorder. These extensions, though, are compatible with Chrome version prior 60. You can read further details about the Chrome extensions in Test Studio here

Having said the above, I can suggest two possible options for resolving the issue:
1. Downgrade Chrome and download the corresponding extensions for the version of Test Studio.
2. The other option, which supports the latest browser version, is to upgrade Test Studio and download the single extension compatible with the latest releases of Test Studio.

You will find all download links for our Chrome extensions in the above mentioned article.

In case of any further questions or concerns, please do let us know.
