I am new to Telerik Test Studio

I want to be able to execute Test Lists remotely in a Virtual Machine on Cloud, and so I installed Trial version of Test Studio and having to finish the required steps to run execution remotely.

Looking at the list of Execution Server, the Virtual Machine was not there. I came across the term Run-time edition, is that what I needed in the first place?

Hello Kit,

To run tests lists remotely you need to have at least a Runtime edition installed on the remote machine. It needs to be configured as an Execution server and to point to a Scheduling server. The Scheduling server could be configured either on your local machine or the remote one.

Please note that since you are using a cloud VM I suppose it would not be in the same domain and therefore you might need to apply the approach described here.

Please take your time and let me know if you would need any further assistance. Thanks!
