I am running Safari 5.1.5 and Telerik Test Studio 2012.4.1420.0.  When I try to run any tests with Safari, it tells me I need to install the Telerik Extensions for Safari.  When I click ok, the following screen tells me "Safari can't install this extension.  An error occurred while installing the extension "Telerik Test Studio Automation Extension."  I get the same error when I try to install it manually from the file in the server.  Do I need to be an admin to install this extension?  What am I doing wrong?  Can someone attach the latest Safari extension that I can try again?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Vaesnar,

I'm sorry but it appears that you have been experiencing this known issue. You can download our updated Safari extension from the comment section of the previous link (or see WebUI.zip attachment) and place it into the '..\Telerik\Test Studio\Browser Extensions\Safari\' folder before manually installing it.

Another option would be to upgrade Test Studio to version 2012.2.1527 which is our latest internal build and contains the same fix mentioned above. The LIB can be downloaded directly from your account or as an upgrade from the current version after configuring your Installation and Update Notification settings accordingly (see attached image).
