Hi,
I am getting the error "Scheduling Service is not running" and when i tried to start manually from services.msc it starts and it will immediately switch back to stopped with an windows error message "The Telerik Test Studio Scheduling service service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do for example performance logs and alert services"
Kindly Suggest.

Hello Deepak,
The problem is likely related to the Service logging, please try to clear the service log as seen in this KB article (see the section marked Clear the event log file).

I did the same as you mentioned increase the size and set overwrite events as needed" however the scheduling service is still not running.

Hello Deepak,
Please make sure you're using an account that has the necessary permissions to start new services.
If you are 100% certain that you have the necessary permissions and you're still unable to get this to work, please try the following steps that succeeded for another customer with this issue:
1. Uninstall Test Studio.
2. Delete the .config files from C:\ProgramData\Telerik\Configs.
3. Install Test Studio.
Please give it a try and let me know the result.

Hi,
I have the same as Deepak problem. When I do the three steps You mentioned above (Uninstall TS, Delete configs and Install TS) problem disappeared. However after couple of weeks I have the same problem - "Scheduling Service is not running". Maybe You know why it come back and what to do to resolve the problem permanently?

This is quite an old thread with outdated info regarding the scheduling service. Please submit a separate support ticket about this problem providing the exact product version along with as many details about your scheduling setup, machines, etc. as possible.
