Hello,
I have a couple of questions in regards to scheduling tests and I could not find the answers in other discussions.
I have 4 tests scheduled to run at 8, 9, 10 & 11. If a test starts to run at 8am but isn't finished at 9am, will the test abort and the test scheduled for 9am begin? Or, will it finish running the test and then start the 9am test right after that regardless of time?
Thanks,
Misty

Hello Misty,
If a test list is not finished executing when it comes time to execute the next one e.g. still running the 8am test list at 9am, Test Studio will wait for a little while then give up and abort the 9am one. The 8am will be allowed to finish. I don't recall what the timeout period is, but it's about 5 minutes if I recall correctly.

So new issue I've come across with scheduling tests. I once was testing on the safari and firefox browser and the tests were scheduled, however I've removed those browsers a few weeks ago. I'm still receiving test results that show my tests have either passed or a few have failed and they were executed in Safari and Firefox. Is there somewhere else I need to be looking? How can this be possible?

Hello Misty,
I can't explain why Test Studio thinks it successfully executing a test in Safari or Firefox browser if both have been uninstalled from that machine. But keep in mind that you control which browsers to try to run the test list against within the test list settings as shown in the attached screen shot. If you scheduled an automatically recurring test list, you'll need to update the recurring scheduled test list. But before doing that be sure to modify the test list settings so the test list will only execute in the desired browser or browsers.
