We moved scripts to different folders in our project and they are not appearing in the new folder.  We moved them back but they do not appear there either?

When I open the folder in Windows Explorer the files are there.

When double click on the script file from windows explorer it launches Telerik test studio but does not open the script.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

You entered this thread in the forum for the free Telerik Testing Framework, but it sounds like you're talking about Test Studio, a different product.

The problem you describe sounds like somehow the tests have been "excluded" from the project. When excluded they are listed in the settings.aiis file as files to NOT show in the project. This can be undone by using "Add existing test...".

You are correct this does belong on the test studio forum please move to the correct location.

 The "Add existing test" does not work. I can see the test and select it but it still does appear in the list.

 I am wondering if I should open a support ticket for this issue/

Hello Mike,

If you open up your settings.aiis file in a text editor, do you see a section similar to this?
"ExcludedFiles": [
  "ManualTest (1).tstest",
  "WebTest(3).tstest",
  "aWeb Test.tstest",
  ".JustCode",
  "AngularJS Change.tstest"
],

If you do, delete that section, then reopen the project in Test Studio. Does that solve the problem? If not, then yes please open a new private support ticket. Be sure to reference this public forum thread for continuity.

P.S. This thread has been moved to the Test Studio forum.
