I am working on automating a web application but have been encountering issues with it. There is not a detailed way for me to explain the complete problem but i can show it to you if need be.
The web application has several links that have to be clicked and when clicked, fields are displayed in which data can be entered. I recorded the steps to click on that link and enter that data but during the execution, clicking on the link action is performed but i do not see the fields displayed. It looks like Test Studio is populating all the fields in the back ground but finally it fails. I tried to put in delays, simulate real click, wait for's, etc but i still have that problem.
I would appreciate it if you can schedule a session for me to show you the issue.

I'm sorry to hear that you are running into this issue. We usually refrain from GoToMeeting sessions unless there are no other options. Right now we have a few options for understanding your symptoms. Please provide your test failure logs (there should be 5 files in the export). You can export these to file from the failure tab of your test and add them to a .zip. In addition to the failure log export, you can record a short video of the behavior. I often recommend Jing as a recording tool due to its ease of use.
As an alternative to "SimulateRealClick", another option would be to invoke a Blind Desktop Click.
You can use Blind Desktop Clicks to make sure all events associated with an element are fired like they would normally be outside of an automation scenario. Here is a quick video of what it looks like.
