unfortunately i have not found, if you can connect a tds file to your test studio?
Is this possible?
With such a file test studio would be able to find elements in testsoftware.

Are elements always displayed in the tree structure?
Can elements be used in other test suites?

Thank you for your interest in Test Studio. We do not have the option to add tds file in Test Studio. Correct me if I am wrong I assume you are asking about the data binding feature. If my assumptions is correct here is an article with the supported data files by Test Studio.
As to your other question - yes, elements are always displayed in the tree structure under page nodes for web applications and application/window nodes for WPF and desktop applications. You can find out more about elements hierarchy and Elements Explorer in Test Studio using this link. Also, element's can be used in other test suites or projects - you can use an already recorded element to add steps using it, or if you want to use an element in another project, you need to add the test it is bound to.

Unfortunately, this is not the answer to my question. Using the TDS file, Telerik Test Studio can detect the elements of the SUT (system under test). Such a procedure is possible in TestComplete.
Is something like this also possible with Telerik Test Studio?
