The first congrats for really great job on product. Awesome. Love it. Its great tool for developers and QA.

One thing constantly pops up in between developers and QA how to reproduce error for specific platform as its required new setup (Azure or Amazon storage).
Would it possible to add new step (Http Request, Verification and ect)? The step would be just text notes and would use Telerik Edit control with minimal features.
Essentially its readme block, where all information stored for devs and QA. It would be great help, as wiki pages or word docs quick getting out of sync and hard to maintain. Keeping everything together big bonus for development as requirements changes quickly in agile land.

If the text nodes could store images as base64 what would be great.

Sincerely J.B

Hi J.B.,

Thank you for the warm words! We are really happy to hear you are satisfied with our product.

I reviewed the request you listed in this thread and would like to discuss it further. As of what you have described there are few suggestion from our side how such note feature could be accomplished. Could you please have a look on these and let me know which suits your expectations best and why.

One of the options is to implement a standalone step which remains non executable but brings notes for the test or certain step in test.

Another option could be a note associated with a particular step and here we have few suggestions:
- to include an icon or popup message in the Step UI to notify there is a note.
- to include an additional tab next to verification and condition tabs.
- to include an additional property for the step properties.

Please have a look to the attached screenshot for some further reference and let me know your opinion. Please do not hesitate to share further details in case we have misunderstood your suggestion.

Thank you once again for your cooperation!

Hi J.B.,

I am glad to know you liked the ideas provided. Though it would be good to know which one of these suggestions seems better as per your perspective - the non executable standalone test step or the other idea to include a note section anywhere in the existing step UI?

Thanks again!

H Elena,

I talked to our team members and the develop wish one stand alone thing (text, links & images) as its more how to setup system and QA loves your idea, as it would allow them additionally QA if test fails enter the short info  and link to bug ID. Next day the dev opens the same Test studio test failing  cases and fixes issues. All info is in front of him. This way Test Studio become great for multiple team use between devs and QA...

So can we have both in long run :)
