When executing the Telerik Test Studio Runtime 2015.2 install package, I receive the following error:
You must have Administrative rights on this machine to install Telerik Test Studio Runtime. Setup will now exit.
My domain user account is a member of the local machine administrators group. I created a local administrator account and the install fails the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 install process.
This is the only software package that does not correctly detect my domain user as part of the local administrators group.

I experienced the similar issue. I tried to install Telerik_UI_For_WinForms_2015_2_728_Trial, but failed with "You must have Administrative rights on this machine to install Telerik Test Studio Runtime. Setup will now exit." , even if my domain user account is a member of the local machine administrators group.
Can somebody help?
The following solved the problem for Randy:
"The solution I found was to locate the 'Command Prompt' menu item, right clicked on it and selected 'Run as Administrator'. In the Command Prompt window I changed to the location of the install file and called the file directly. The install then completed successfully."
