Hello Jonik,
Anthony

If you're using Quick Execution, then the log is not saved to disk.
You must execute via a Test List for the results to be saved to the Project\Result folder.

Has there been a feature request logged for this? If not, I would like to start one. The reason for this is that when we make a change to a test that is one of multiple in a test list, we'd like to test out that change before running the entire test list of course. Sometimes we will click on the Project tab and forget to view the log before doing so, thus losing the log. Even if there was an option to Save the log instead of saving it automatically, that would be appreciated. I understand this feature doesn't exist so as not to fill up disk space with so many quick execution logs, but once in awhile it would be nice to save them off.
Just my two cents. If it's only worth one cent, i'm fine with that too...
Thanks!

I second what Alan said.
I also wanted to add another niggle: when executing (quick execution and more importantly a test list) and then clicking abort, the test results are discarded. Not sure if this is on purpose but it is actually quite counter productive. Usually I will monitor an execution and if something goes awfully wrong I will abort it... this does not mean I do not want to see what happened - quite to the contrary! So it will be very useful if log is displayed (and saved) even when clicking abort.

Hi Ory and Alan,
Thank you for the feedback. I logged these as two separate feature requests. You can track their progress and vote for these PITS items here and here. Thanks!
Kind regards,
