Hi everybody !

1) I want to use Test Studio Mobile in Genymotion application (or an other emulator equivalent).

Is TSM compatible ?

I need to test my website on differents devices on my virtual machine. (so I need emulator).

2) Webtest on iOS don't work on my machine.

I have an iPad Pro 9.7 and the device is "connected" on the telerik app. My ipad is present in TSM but the green arrow (launch test) is not available. If I click on my android device, the arrow is available but not with my ipad... Why ?

Thank you very much.

Hi Thomas,

As far as I understand you would like to test a web application on different devices - please correct me if I am wrong. For the Android standard emulator is confirmed you could test native apps but no web pages. This is due to the technology we use to inject the web agent into the browser. We use an internal proxy which is not working at least with the standard emulator. However you could try with the mentioned emulator and let us know if it will work for you.

In relation to your second question I suppose you have followed the instructions for configuring the device to test a native app and not a web one. Could you please confirm if you have successfully configured Test Studio. The next step is to set a proxy on the device (the iPad in your case). And after you install the required certificate you should be able to connect the web agent and navigate to the tested web page.

Thank you for contacting us!

Thank you for your answer.

Indeed, web test on emulator not working, even with Genymotion :(...

For my iPad, I will test with an other device and I will return on this conversation. All the configuration steps are ok and the device is connected in the web agent.

:)

Regards.
