I have Test Studio ver. 2015.2. All of a sudden, it started crashing on startup. In the Event Log, I got the following error:
Application: Telerik.TestStudio.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Try and open this file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\Test Studio\Bin\Telerik.TestStudio.Desktop.exe" and see if that makes a difference. If I open the "Telerik.TestStudio.exe" (which I think is the default shortcut), it crashes on startup. However if I use the one I mentioned first, I'm able to open test studio properly.
I'm also unable to open Visual Studio if I have that extension installed.
Thank you all for reporting and discussing on the issue.
You could now start the Test Studio and Visual Studio with the plugin as well. There was an issue we have addressed already and this should be working fine now. Please get back to me to share the current behavior if it is still crashing.
Please be notified that for the next Service Pack release expected till the end of the week the automatic upgrade will not be possible straight forward through the product. Everyone should download it from his/her Telerik account and upgrade manually. This will be one time event to upgrade to the Service Pack edition and each next update wil be automatic again.
Please excuse us for any caused inconvenience and thank you in advance for the cooperation!
