Hi,

We have an environment where the bamboo CI server is a remote server.  I cannot install test studio to it.  The instructions i found for integrating with bamboo show how to do it if all items reside on the same machine.  I wanted to be able to kick off test after builds on remote execution machines.  Any thoughts on this?

Hello Ryan,

You can install RunTime version to that server, it is not necessary to have full Test Studio installed on the machine.

Is installing a RunTime version on the build server an option for you?

Hi,

You can only choose Windows machines to install the Test Studio product distributions on.

I am aware of that.

I want to know how i can connect test studio to that bamboo instance from a separate machine that has test studio runtime installed to it already.

Hello Ryan,

This is not related to Test Studio. You can install the bamboo build agent on a machine that has RunTime installed or having your build done to transfer the files to a machine that has RunTime so you can use the ArtOfTest.Runner.exe to run your tests.

We are not Bamboo experts, the article for Bamboo is created only for customer's convenience and providing a guidance on the basic setup.

Thank you for your understanding.
