While recording and running tests, Test Studio just ranomly crashes and I have to restart everything over again.

Sometimes it has difficulty even opening up the tests that I just created and automatically fails them. Sometimes it just sits there on a blank screen. For some reason it is having issues on simple click details that it should not be having issues on at all.

It's a gamble when I try to record or execute a test. What can I do?

Hello Taryn,

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this behavior. It would be nice if you provide more information so we can try to isolate this and get reliable repro. I am constantly working with Test Studio as well and I am not getting this behavior. Are the crashes reproduced when recording/executing specific application? Can you also reproduce them on another machine? Could you provide me with application log after you experience a crash.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am not able to replicate it on purpose unfortunately it is a sporadic event.

It did just crash though and I went into the application log in order to copy it to you and it is completely blank.

I went in to record for a web test in one of my test folders and the window disappeared and I had to reload the program. I have about five web tests in this particular save and nine folders.

Hello Taryn,

I am not able to find a crash on our end as well, as you are saying that the log is completely blank, this is only possible if it is not enabled. Please make sure the logging is enabled, the button should be yellow (refer to the screenshot attached) and next time when you experience a crash please provide me with the log.

Also please make sure you provide more information about the recording browser used, what version, what type is the application under test, basically every detail you might think of.
