Has anybody had experience of using Telerik Test Studio along with Release Management as part of a continuous delivery pipeline.

Having posed the question on a Telerik webinar, the reply given was they may create a blog article or something to that affect.

Ideally I would like Test Studio to fit in as part of the delivery pipeline it seems to offer a lot or may be Microsoft Coded UI is an easier approach?

Hi Zac,

Thank you for your interest in Telerik Test Studio.

There are a lot of CI tools and we could not cover all available options in our official documentation. We have few examples for the most popular and common offerings on the market and here you could read further details

However there are some general tips that worth it to be mentioned. It is quite important to not run the testing agent as a service. To ensure that the tests would run successfully leave the execution machine running and logged into the account. If your tests perform direct desktop interaction (such as Desktop.Mouse.Click or Window.GetBitmap) do not lock the machine, instead keep a live running session at any time.

Please let me know if you will need any further assistance. Thank you!

Telerik Test Studio is a software testing solution that offers automated functional Web, desktop, mobile, manual, performance, load and exploratory testing capabilities. It ships as both a standalone application and a Visual Studio plug-in, thus allowing true developer-tester collaboration in the field of test automation in a Visual Studio environment. It's easy start-up-and-use quality assurance DevOps software that helps teams implement test automation regardless of their size or development methodology used.
