We have run into an issue with the latest release that is effecting our users that have a Windows 8 machine using IE11. When they are recording test and the have the highlight turned on for element verification and other tool uses their browsers will lock up/freeze and they are forced to kill the process.
Is this a known issue or does anyone know a work around? We are currently considering rolling back the update to the previous version or having them run Test Studio using a Windows 7 VM.

I'm experiencing this issue, as well. Windows 8/IE10. When I do a "run to here", the recorder displays but when I attempt any action on the page the browser freezes. I am also unable to highlight elements (browser freezes).
This worked fine prior to upgrading to v2014.4.4.1211 last week.

I updated to the latest build, now Test Studio freezes up when I try to open a failed test case to see why it failed and the expected vs time of failure image. Im considering rolling back to 2014.3 as the new UI for recording leaves A LOT to be desired, is problematic in the freezing of browsers and now has the added issue of not being able to open a failed test case.

The latest internal seems to have fixed the issue with the Test Results not opening the Failed test case. I have also not heard any more from our Win 8 IE11 users in regards to there browsers freezing so I think this may be resolved as well. Im still rocking Win7 so I dont have the same issue.

Boyan,
I downloaded the trial today and have been running into the same issue described originally. When I open IE 11 Win 8, IE will freeze up within approx 10secs after trying to record. IE behaves just fine when I am not running TS, but continues to freeze when trying to record. Thoughts?
