Hmm...what's the issue you're running into? Outside of clicking the elements during recording, and renaming things to be more readable I don't have many issues when recording against components in our webapp.

The clicks are not registering and actually expanding the tree list. They clicks are registering with the right ID's however nothing seems to happen

Please provide further information on this case:
- Which product version do you use?
- Which browser/version do you use?
- If not using IE - do you have installed latest Test Studio extensions?
- Does it application public facing in order to reproduce the observed problem?
- What types are the elements that you are automating - Kendo UI for example?
- Could you provide the execution log with the exception you got there?
