Hi Telerik Team,
I have existing trial projects that have reference to System.Data. However, just recently, I tried to add a new project, I encountered an error regarding missing directive for System.Data. I looked at the references of the new project, and the System.Data is not included. I tried to add reference to it but it was not reflected in the project references. Do you know a workaround for these?
Much thanks,
Kristine

Hello Kristine,
Thanks for the post and question. So just to clarify, you explicitly added and are using System.Data in custom code for your previous projects?
And now with the new project, are the new tests automatically throwing errors about System.Data?
If you can describe how you are using System.Data in your previous projects and what specific error you are getting now, I can try to repro this.
Or if you can send the project with the error, I can check out what maybe happening.
All the best,

Found it: Go to reference, from settings and add it from C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v4\system.Data

Hello Lionela,
Glad to hear you found it.
Next time when experiencing an issue could you please raise a separate ticket for more clarity rather then updating an old existing post. Since 2010 the product significantly changed and it is very likely that you are experiencing a completely different problem/issue.
Thank you for your understanding.
