Using the latest trial version and Safari 5.1.

I have a click event on a tree node which loads a document in an iframe. Using debug mode I open the Find Element dialog and click Troubleshoot then Select a New Element.

This is all I see in the element:
<html><head><script src="safari-extension://com.telerik.webui-KHL9D64Z9H/44544ee7/windowMessageHandler.js"></script></head><body></body></html>

In the browser the iframe has loaded normally.

The same test works fine in IE, Chrome and Firefox.

I've ensured all the browser settings are ok for Safari.

Is there a quick fix for this?

Cheers,
Steve

Hello Steve,
I might not understand you correctly. From your description I gather you're doing the following:
http://screencast.com/t/JNvHKlMZ2m

However, as you can see in the video, this only works for IE. We only allow recording in IE and you can only connect to that browser in order to select a new element. Because of this I don't understand how Safari fits into this context: could you elaborate a bit on this and help me understand.

Is the selection of a new element through Troubleshooting unrelated to Safari? Is the test simply failing on playback in Safari? You can include a video record to help us better understand your use case and assist you more efficiently.

Kind regards,
