I would like to change the default Test Studio (standalone) paths and settings. Where are they stored?
I am using version control software and would like create new projects in specific location instead of "C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Test Studio Projects" in Windows 7.

Hi Asare,
What default paths and settings are you referring to? Test Studio doesn't have any default paths. Every time you create a new project the default settings (on our settings dialog) it gets are hard coded. Their default cannot be changed - of course you can change the project settings once the project has been created.
Kind regards,

Thank you for your prompt response. The installation process automatically sets the project directory C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Test Studio Projects.
I would like to default it to C:\%MY PROJECT PATH%. For example c:\Telerik\Projects
In this way I do not have to grant access to my private folders for version or source control.
If you want to reproduce it. Start the new project wizard and it will default to the folder C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Test Studio Projects. Please note, I have changed my username to %USERNAME% in the attached image. Normally %USERNAME% would be something like gordon.brown.
Thanks again for your prompt response.

Hello Asare,
At this time, the proposed project folder location is hard-coded within Test Studio. I have created a feature request for this feature, which you can view in our Public Issue Tracking System (PITS). I have awarded you 500 Telerik Points as thanks for your feature request.
