I can see this in the docs:

But that doesn't add an Entry (Text box)

I would prefer to just have an Entry in the toolbar rather than a button to show a Template with an entry inside it.

This is the error:

Thanks

Hi Mark,

That feature was introduced in the 2023 R3 release => https://www.telerik.com/support/whats-new/maui-ui/release-history/telerik-ui-for-net-maui-(version-6-3-0)

That error tells me the project is using an older version, please update to 6.3.0 and rebuild. Then, you will see the new toolbar item types (BusyIndicatorToolbarItem and EntryToolbarItem).

A brand new .NET MAUI course was just added to the Virtual Classroom. The training course is developed to help you get started with the Telerik UI for .NET MAUI components and features. It aims to put you in the shoes of an engineer who adds new features to an existing application. You can check it out at https://learn.telerik.com

Yes, wrong version, I was playing with MAUI on Mac via Visual Studio Code Extensions which didn't install the versions I thought it installed...

Thanks
