Thank you for the visual example.
Currently, that is a very specific custom container that is used to show multiple types of elements. Lists, Cards, etc. The DropDownList is designed to work with a list of items and the menu UX is mostly focused on single/similar types of items where this is like a popup container with different elements.
We can offer to use the Popup and add the content inside of it:
