The docking advanced layout designer is broken when using Visual Studio 2019 Version 16.8.3, some buttons are missing so cannot add ToolWindows etc.
If copying from an old template from net 4.6, the initial docking layout works but dragging a window does not show the dock graphics overlay to dock anywhere.
Essentially docking looks broken on net5.0 (just checked and it's also broken on netcore3.1)

I would like to note that our designers target a specific version of the WinForms Designer SDK and this SDK is also inserted into Visual Studio. Sometimes there might be breaking changes in the WinForms Designer SDK and as it is a part of Visual Studio itself, this will break our designers. As things are dynamically changing one needs to pay attention of the Telerik NuGet version and the Visual Studio version. There is a compatibility table listed in the following help article: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/core/design-time
We have introduced some improvements in the RadDock's designer in the Latest Internal Build 2020.3.1215. It is available for downloading as a package: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/installation-and-upgrades/latest-internal-builds#installing-lib-from-nuget
However, it requires Visual Studio 2019 Preview version. Once, I have installed the correct Telerik package in specific VS 2019 version, the RadDock's Advanced Layout Designer seems to be shown as expected on my side. However, the docking guides are missing in the Advanced Layout Designer.
