Roadmap

We will be adding a new Speech-to-Text component to our WinForms suite which will allow conversion of spoken words into text directly within WinForms applications. The feature will improve accessibility and productivity by allowing voice-driven data entry and commands. 

 

DataGrid remains a core element of our suite and will continue to be a top priority. We’re committed to its ongoing refinements for faster performance, smarter functionality, and the addition of top-requested features – ensuring it stays robust and adaptable for complex data scenarios. 

 

Another focus for 2026 is the redesign of our Chat component with extended capabilities, including better message formatting, rich media support, and improved customization options for conversational UIs. With the rise of AI, this is becoming the preferred navigation approach, and we are preparing to deliver the capabilities needed for richer, more engaging conversational experiences. 

 

Deliver crisp, pixel-perfect rendering on high-resolution displays. We will deep dive into the HDPI topic and provide improvements to ensure Telerik UI for WinForms components scale beautifully across modern monitors, enhancing usability and visual appeal. 

 

We plan to introduce full UI Automation support for the RichTextEditor, improving accessibility and compatibility with assistive technologies and automated testing tools. This enhancement will enable seamless integration with screen readers and testing frameworks, ensuring a more inclusive and reliable experience for all users. 

We are thrilled to announce that our suite will soon support .NET 9 Preview, aligning with our commitment to embrace the latest technological advancements. This update will enable developers to take full advantage of the new features and improvements in .NET 9, ensuring that applications built with our components are at the forefront of innovation.
