As you have described on this page, I have added a DropDownButton. The only difference that is on my end is that I placed the button on a Dialog component in a form. Unfortunately now, when I click the button, the dropdown opens "under" the Dialog (see attached screenshot). Can I influence that behavior somehow so that it appears above it?

This is because of the z-index of both components. I can suggest checking this article on how this can be addressed:

We also already have a pull request for this to be done automatically and the components to dynamically update their z-index prop.
