As far as I can see the DropDownButton does not have an appendTo property.  Is there no way to stop it from appending to the root?  Would rather it be inside the tree for styling reasons.

Hi, Dan,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, the DropDownButton has no appendTo property that allows the developer to append the component to a specific container.

Can you provide more information on your scenario and how you would like to style the component so that I can suggest a possible solution?

We have styles that are scoped to our react application and now these are appearing outside the react application.

We would like to just see this have appendTo, I assume it is just an oversight or just lower down the priority list?

If it is not possible, we just won't use that control.

Hi, Dan,

Thank you for the clarification.

In this case, I can suggest submitting a feature request in our feedback portal, where new ideas are being evaluated and later implemented based on the received votes:

I hope this helps.
