The frozen column feature is being developed. It is in its final stages and currently being tested.
Once it is available we will update the following feature request:

Hello, Ryan,
As the Q3 release is already available, the feature will be released on a later date. Please have in mind that we are adding new features constantly, not only for the official release, so as soon as the feature is ready, we will publish a new version with it and update the feature request item to notify everyone that is expecting it.
