Is there a way to choose specific RadSpreadsheet BackgroundColor from UI

Hi,

Is there a way to choose BackgroundColor of cells in RadSpreadsheet from UI that are not part of the given list of colors???
or maybe a way to edit the background color # from UI ???

Hi Efrat,

You can apply custom color to the cell by using the Color dialog from the Font buttons group. The Color dialog contains four tabs that allow you to choose different colors. The Professional tab gives you more freedom to set up your color. Check the following image.

Hi Efrat,

Thank you for the clarification!

I am afraid that the current implementation of the RadSpreadsheet component and its Kendo UI base widget don't provide a method or configuration option that would allow either the developer, nor the end user to change the predefined palette.

Nevertheless, there is a dedicated feature request in the Kendo UI portal where you can subscribe, vote and comment to raise the priority of this useful feature in the backlog:
