Greetings,

Is there a way to implement a search column text functionality inside the dropdown from the external filter?

The user can easily find their column name instead of scrolling through it one by one.

I have attached an image for the example. Thanks!

Hello, Jason,

You are using the external Filter component, is that correct?  If this is the case I can recommend using the filter prop to set a custom component, for example, a DropDownList with filtering enabled or any other custom implementation.

Hi Filip,

I'm using the external Filter. The filter prop only changes the third/last input component of the external Filter.

Can you give an example of how to set a custom component at the first dropdown label input?

Please see the attached example for clarification. Thanks!

Hi, Jason,

Thank you for the screenshot and clarification. After further investigation, the Filter component currently does not provide a mechanism to customize the Fields DropDownList, for example, the first or second one. I can recommend submitting a feature request in our feedback portal for this functionality where new ideas are constantly being evaluated and the most popular ones are included in future releases:
