Hi,

I have created an offline application using React and as part of the functionality want to display RTF content in the viewer or editor which is being read from database.

Let me know if KendoReact Rich Text Editor can help me achieve this functionality. Please consider that this component should support offline application and should be part of the setup package.

For reference attaching the file having the RTF content.

Appreciate a quick response. Also if the works then let me know what would be the pricing for this license.

Regards,

Atif

Hello, Atif,

I can suggest checking the following forum post on the current possibilities to show RTF content. In short, the Editor supports only HTML content as this is a web-based Editor. We need something that can convert the RTF to HTML:

https://www.telerik.com/forums/insert-ms-word-rtf-file-content-as-value-for-rich-text-editor

For the offline version, maybe something like a PWA application could be used that will need the internet initially to get the content, but later can be used offline:

loper.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Progressive_web_apps

As for the pricing, this is the KendoReact license pricing:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-react-ui/pricing/

If you have a server that can use the Document Processing Library for the conversion we can suggest for DevCraft UI license that will include both products plus many more:
