I'm looking for an example of a rich text editor capable of:
Font formatting
Paragraph formatting
Copy and Paste with support for screen shots from clipboard
Image sizing and formatting
URL Links
Spell check
HTML view and output
Print
Persist into to filesystem as HTML and or database BLOB field
Anyone worked on anything like this?

Hello Tony,
Thank you for your feedback. We really liked it because of the concrete features that you mentioned. I have updated your Telerik points for that.
We are currently brainstorming on such an editor and all the features that you mentioned will be considered besides the last one (saving to a data base) as we do not consider it appropriate for a reusable component. Also I cannot currently give you a time-frame for the development of such a component as we are still at the brainstorming stage and we are gathering feedback from our customers. In this regard, I would like to ask the other members of our community to post as well the features that they need as this will play important role in shaping the future implementation.

Hello John Seifert,
Although no real progress is made regarding this control, we are researching the option to reuse our RichTextBox for Silverlight. We will have more information on this in 2 to 3 months.

I know that this is being progressed but as yet it is not implemented. Have a look at my blog post regarding the Rich Text Editor. Telerik are keen to obtain feedback on features that are required in such an editor.

Thank you for writing.
Currently, Telerik UI for WinForms suite offers RadRichTextEditor which is a control that is able to display and edit rich-text content including formatted text arranged in pages, paragraphs, spans (runs), tables, etc. Please have a look at our Demo application >> RichTextEditor >> First look example. The Demo application can be found in the installation folder of the suite which is usually located at the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\UI for WinForms R2 2017\Examples\QuickStart\Bin.

Hello, Ghaffar,
RadRichTextEditor is compatible with Visual Studio 2010. It just requires .NET Framework 4.0 and cannot be used with an older version.

Hi Dess,
Thank you so much for the response. i am still facing a problem that i have a winform and when i dropped the RichTextEditor on the form it is not shown on the form. for more details i am attaching the file kindly help me out.

Hello, Ghaffar,
According to the provided screenshot it seems that the references added to your project are not correct considering the Telerik version in GAC. I would like to ask you to carefully check the references to all Telerik controls in your project and make sure that they are the same version considering the suffix as well (.40). Better yet, you can remove all references and add them anew by using the DLLs from your installation. Make sure that the Target Framework is 4.0 or higher. Delete the license.licx file. After that, you should rebuild your project, close Visual Studio and open it again to make sure that no references are kept in the memory by Visual Studio.
However, if you are still experiencing any further difficulties, feel free to submit a support ticket from your account and provide a sample project demonstrating the undesired behavior. Thus, we would be able to make an adequate analysis of the precise case and assist you further. Thank you in advance.
