We have a project react as fronted and Django as back end. We want to
create an API that allows to fill pdf forms (edit those forms before
creating the api). Thinking of using open source libraries like pdf-lib
or PDFBox or any other suitable library.

Hi, M Asim,
I went through our ticket system in order to find any reports of clients who have created a similar API, however, we haven't received any reports on this scenario and the libraries that they have used. Such custom scenarios and third-party libraries are outside our Support scope, however after further research, it seems that pdf-lib seems to be a good candidate for your case.
