Hi support,

I use grouping in my RadGrid with summary rows.

Is it possible to keep the summary row only at the bottom of the grid and not in the grouping?
I only want the total of the data and I don't want to see the subtotal.

Regards,
Nadia

Hi Nadia,

Thank you for writing.

Yes, it is possible. Please refer to the Summary rows in grouped RadGridView section in the following article for more information: http://www.telerik.com/help/winforms/gridview-rows-summary-rows.html.

I hope that you find this information useful. Should you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

The article referenced only describes how to show the TOTAL summary row by setting it true/false. It doesn't describe how to hide subtotals resulting from each group. Has anyone figured out how to hide group summary row subtotals, but not the actual total?

Hello,

You are right, the ShowTotals property defines whether the total summary rows will be shown. Currently, there is no appropriate public API that can hide/remove the summary row resulting from each group. It sounds to be a reasonable feature request. This is why I have logged it in our Feedback portal by creating a public thread on your behalf. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item

I have also updated your Telerik Points.

I hope this information helps. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,
Nadya
