Hello,

In my test case i have to verify the column of the grid after applying some filter criteria to it .
After applying the filter criteria only filtered rows are displayed ,but when i try to extract the data from the column using a coded step it is returning all the entries of the column.
can you guys help me with this?

I am having an issue where a verification has different results between IE and Firefox. The Below verification failure is from Firefox where as IE does not have an issue. I looked at the Browser Source, they both look the same. In the Browser, neither show the text with the carriage return displayed, actually they both show the text as what is expected.

when Comparing Performance in the Telerik Studio Studio, I do like the compare, development loves the report.  However; we need for a manner to export to Excel or have a pdf report.

Am I missing something here?

I am evaluating WebUI Test Studio and currently have recorded one scenarion, now I want to do some minor modifications into steps using few more controls and for that I have idea about how to create element for WebUI but I am unable to find the facility to add new element.

I think it is very much required for maintanance and it will be easier to modify some element locators manually instead or re-record etc.

So please guide me that how can I add my own element in elements list and same way my own page is same hierarcy?

I understand the 'Results' folder is created at the project root when I create a new project.  We have business needs to gather the test results from the entire test team, so we can generate the metrix report directly from the results folder on a shared drive.

Question #1: Is there anyway I can configure the settings so that the 'Results' folder is located on a shared drive? If so, then we can ask the entire test team to configure their results folder to the same one on the shared location

Question #2: Is it a good practice to create a project on the shared drive? I am thinking, if the answer to my #1 question is NO, then we can create a dummy project on the shared drive and have everyone copy their own test results to the 'Results' folder for that project. If we need to generate metrix report, just open this dummy project on the shared.

We recently presented Test Studio to the QA team as a solution for automated testing on a Silverlight application.  One of the concerns from the QA team was that the play back was slow. With slow automation their tests would take a long time to complete.  Is there a way to make the automation play back faster?

Hi Telerik Team,

I am running Telerik to test Web application. I recorded scenario which includes sub-menu click by using Telerik Mouse Actions: 'Mouse Hover' and 'Left Click'. But when executed the scenario, it finishes the test without executing this part. Or I could say same functionality not working on Telerik by this way.
So please let me know the steps to record and execute the menu/sub-menu options, as well as the check boxes in application.

Is it possible to force Test Studio to bind to an instance of Internet Explorer?

My problem in a nutshell is:

1. Use Run > To Here
2. A second window opens during this run
3. Test Studio faithfully binds to the first window, but not the second
(Making it impossible to continue where I left off on my recording...)

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way to force thread identity for a test list. I'm currently working on an intranet site and I have to test different user profiles on one of our dev servers. The thing is that we don't do "login"; the site takes the logged in identity. For manual testing and verification, we've developed a script that forces the desired identity (all browser windows must be closed for it to work), THEN opens a browser window and opens the site . But with test studio, the browser opens as soon as you want to record a test.

Any help would be appreciated.
