Hello group, we are facing the problem when we are recording a web test in TS and try to highlight an element the selection rectangle is jumping all over the place but not on the position of the mouse pointer. I have set the display scaling settings to 100% but the problem still occurs. We have a setup with multiple screens as mentioned in some thread's and I was using Chrome. After setting the display settings to 100% I have restarted Chrome. Is there a solution for this issue?

Hello everyone,

I want to record some data driven tests but cannot estabish connection with my MySQL database. Unfortunately tutorial is only for SQL Server database.  Can someone explain me step by step how to make a connection?

I'm unable to receive emails, tested the smtp server details using smtp tester and email was sent successfully.

Why the "Handle confirm dialog " fails always with the message "Timed out waiting 5000 msec"  ?

It goes and clicks the ok button.. But still the step is failing...

Hi, when I try and run a test list from the command prompt with the runner I get the following error:

ProjectCompile: Compile failed: error CS2021: File name 'D:\AdTestProject\bin\.dll' is too long or invalid

 

Any ideas?????

is there some possibility to add Re-run testlist feature to scheduler ? with some parameters like turn on/off or how many times telerik should run ReRun, like 2-3x times, not only 1x times.

I have telerik clicking a link based on tagname (span) and InnerText (Memberships). This works perfectly in Firefox, Chrome, IE; but in Edge it clicks a link labeled "Food" (which is above the desired link) 19 out of 20 times (the other 1/20 it works properly). Any thoughts on what could possible be going on and how I can get around this? It is only happening in Microsoft Edge.

I have another test included in the parent script using the Test as Step feature. I am try to debug a step which is in the "Test as Step" script but for some reason, test studio does not stop running at the breakpoint but continues as if it does not recognize breakpoints inside "Test as Step" scripts.

I am looking for any help regarding these issues which you might have encountered using Test Studio for Load testing.

1. I am unable to use a previously created functional script ( even without data driven) as a load test script.- I do not see any traffic captured this way.
2. Since (1) was not working for me, I tried doing a new capture option which within load test and then went along recording my script, even in this case I do not web traffic being captured.
3. Since (1) and (2) are not working for me, I then download Fiddler Cap on the suggestion of a test studio support person and then tried using Fiddler Cap to get the web traffic, Since I am going after the https link, I selected

       a)Decrypt HTTPS traffic in fiddler cap

       b) In test studio project settings, Settings -> Others -> Connection Settings -> Register certificate for https connection. ( which tells me that I have now installed the certificate) 

In spite of the above two steps, when I start Fiddler Cap, I still get the "connection not secure" pop up on IE .I ignore that and go ahead and Fiddler Cap seems to capture the traffic, which I then import into Test Studio Load profile.

When I kick off the test, it looks like the test is running, but it is not, since when I check the Database, no new rows are created , when they should be and the data is untouched. So I know its not working.

Did any one have the same issues and were you able to resolve this?  Test studio has a proxy which kicks in during load testing to my knowledge, in that case , is there anything which might prevent the web traffic capture. I need a resolution to this asap and posting this here to see if any one of the users have experienced this.

Appreciate any help in this regard. I am new to test studio and trying to get past this issue.
