Techies love to soak up knowledge and geek out over cool new things—a relaxed hangout at end of day doesn’t hurt. Progress can help.

The MVP Summit is an exclusive multi-day event for all active Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) and RDs (Regional Directors). The MVP Summit features a large catalog of in-depth technical discussions that emphasizes two-way engagement, along with other community focused opportunities. This year’s event takes place March 25-27, 2025, at the Microsoft Redmond Campus and online.

For Microsoft MVPs/RDs, the MVP Summit is a weeklong gathering of hardcore Microsoft tech enthusiasts—folks from all over the world get together on Redmond campus or online. The days do feel like drinking from the firehose, as Microsoft PM/Engineering folks share what’s on the horizon across product suites, frameworks and developer tooling. The intersection of roadmap discussions, product feedback and engaged conversations often sets the stage for what’s to come next for solutions built around Microsoft technology stacks.

This year’s MVP Summit promises to be packed with awesome content—we should see big announcements across -----, ----- and ----- (redacted under NDA). Then, there’s the little thing called AI that no one can stop talking about. At the end of a long day of sessions and brainstorming, it would be nice if the nerds had a place to hang out in a relaxed environment—Progress folks are here to oblige.

While Microsoft offers wide breadth of technologies, .NET is where our love is. Progress has a long history of making .NET developers more productive with Telerik, Kendo UI, Fiddler, Sitefinity and more. MVP Summit is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded .NET folks, network and open up new possibilities. Let’s see how we do this.

What:

Progress is hosting a little get-together during one evening @ the MVP Summit—come network with fellow techies in a relaxed environment. Hug old friends, make new ones and talk up all things tech.

Where:

Aloft Seattle Redmond @ 15220 NE Shen St Ste 150, Redmond, WA 98052—we’ll be in the W XYZ bar/restaurant area.

When:

March 26, 6-8 p.m. PST. Complimentary self-parking for those local/driving.

Who:

Who can you expect to see at the Progress event? While open to all MVPs/RDs, you’ll likely see most from the .NET world aka Developer Technologies category, and likely plenty of .NET folks from .NET MAUI/Blazor/Aspire/AI/Visual Studio and other teams.

How:

Events work best with young energetic hosts—or old people with battle scars and friends for validation. You’ll have three of us as hosts—Ed Charbeneau, Lance McCarthy and Sam Basu. We’ll have drink tickets that will cost you stories.

Why:

A healthy mind needs a satisfied body. Come grab light healthy-ish appetizers from the buffet table and a drink from the bar. Network. Regale. Be inspired.

We hope to see you at the MVP Summit—come hang with us @ the Progress event. Cheers!
